Heating Instructions: This ham is fully cooked and may be enjoyed without further cooking.
Do Not Overheat. Let ham stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Remove ham from packaging and place in a roasting pan. (A glass baking or roasting pan is recommended.) Cover completely with foil. Preheat oven to 300F and bake ham for 10 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature reaches 125F. Remove from oven and let rest until internal temperature registers 135-145F. Since oven temperatures vary, a meat thermometer is recommended ~adjust time and temperature accordingly.
For Glaze: After ham reaches 125F, remove top portion of the foil, apply glaze and increase oven temperature to 375F for 10-20 minutes until glaze has set and internal temperature is 130F or above. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
To Remove Slices From The Whole Ham
Using a sharp knife, start slicing across the wide (butt) end of the ham. Spiral slicing begins a few inches into the ham. When you reach the spiral slices, remove the portion of the ham you just cut. Then any lengthwise cut will release the slices for serving.
Left over ham can be frozen
